What support do I offer?
I understand that not everyone understands the web-world, which is why I guarantee to explain everything so it's simple and transparent.
I will talk you through what to expect. This starts with discussing what you want, be it a simple 1-page website, or a multi-page eCommerce store.
I will explain the whole package, whether it be websites, branding or marketing -
Website - you can show me websites you like, colours you have in mind.
Email - I'll give you a simple guide to setup your emails on your phone.
Domain - the worldwide web address to match your business, simple.
Marketing - We'll look at what you already have (or don't have...)
Do I have a good reputation?
I'd like to think I do a good job, which is why many of my clients have stayed with me for years.
The majority of my work comes from word-of-mouth recommendations, testament to the work I produce. I'll endeavour to do my best and offers solutions - and if I can't do something, I won't sugarcoat the message, I'll tell you.
I believe that a fair, open and honest approach is the right way. I'm confident in my work and am more than happy for prospective clients to speak to any of my current clients for feedback prior to working with me.
And then, if you're happy, I'm happy.
What is my experience?
Built in Birmingham I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2006 with a Computer Science degree. I needed real-world experience so to get my foot in the industry-door, I offered to work for free. And that's what I did for 3 months as Digital Executive at eSterling. This digital agency provided me the foundation of dealing with clients, programmers, designers and developers.
I later joined forces with a fellow student from university who'd recently taken the reigns from his fathers web agency at Strategy Plus as SEO & Project Manager in the jewellery quarter.
Developed in Yorkshire Following this, I was approached about a role at Simpson Millar as Digital Marketing Manager, which appealed as my employers were then also the end-client. Working in-house allowed me to learn a different aspect to my role, dealing with key stakeholders in shaping how the company wanted to be perceived from the outside.
I'd built up decent experience and achievements to land the job of eCommerce manager at GNG Group predominantly as an analytics guru to optimise conversion rates. It was here that I was led by a a truly inspirational manager who gave me the confidence to go solo. And so since 2019, here I am.
Are website all bespoke?
Yes. I create website for you. Your logo, pictures, content is yours. My core service is designing and building affordable websites for small-to-medium sized businesses.
The first step is to look at what you already have (or don't have), and create elements such as a distinct logo and other visual elements to grab attention by showing potential customers that you’re an established, credible business worthy of attention. I aim to make your first impression count.
By merging creativity and technical expertise, my approach produces websites that benefit from over a decade’s web design and digital marketing experience. As a result, I deliver user-friendly, visually-engaging websites that convert effectively to maximise the return on your investment.
Why I'm a one-man agency
Because I've spent 11 years honing my craft, I've realised that I don't need fancy suits and offices to impress. I prefer to let my work do the talking. I don't outsource any of my work so you can be assured that I understand everything that's gone into your website and services.
You'll only ever deal with me. To keep costs down I don't use flashy suits, expensive offices or empoly annoying receptionists here. I've learnt to run efficiently and effectively.
I can, therefore, offer lots of value and deliver outstanding digital services without breaking the bank.
Will prices remain fair?
I believe what goes around, come around so I am not in the business of ripping people off. Unfortunately in my career, I've seen many instances of companies 'trying their luck' and over-charging people who don't know better.
Emails - Depends on mailbox size, but basic from £2.50 per month. Synchronised on all your devices.
Hosting - from £5 per month. Subject to website size (for example, one-page brochure, portfolio, eCommerce).
Domain - from £20 per year.
SEO - varies depending on scope. Best we talk through this one together.
Content Updates - i do minor updates for free. Anything that goes beyond is charged at £25 per hour.
Maintenance - techie back-end stuff is free, because that's my job, not yours!
